Dance Is...
In high school, I was fortunate enough to take a film photography class. We covered camera basics, how to develop film, and building a portfolio. This was the first time I was really introduced to photography rather than just bringing a camera along with me wherever I went.
The final assignment was to photograph and print a series of anything we wanted, as long as the images were related to one another in some way. I chose to photograph what I considered to be different elements of a dance or being part of a "dance family".
